Backed by the power of Purdue, Purdue Global gives you the flexibility to complete your required associate’s degree courses 100% online.

The General Education Mobile (GEM) program can be completed with only five online courses at Purdue Global.
GEM courses are taught 100% online.
Each course corresponds to a general education area requirement for a degree.
When taking two courses per term, you can complete the Air Force and Space Force GEM program in 8 months.
Courses are 10 weeks in length and each term lasts 10 weeks.

The HLC (HLCommission.org) is an institutional accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

GEM Program Overview

The GEM program was designed to help you fulfill your Community College of the Air Force Associate in Applied Science general education requirements in a mobile, nontraditional classroom format. Completing the GEM program is a key step toward earning your associate's degree through the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF).

After completing GEM, you can focus on earning credits within your specific discipline through additional college courses, training you have taken with DANTES and CLEP exams, and credits earned through your military work.

We offer additional courses beyond the GEM program, which may help you complete other elements of your CCAF associate's degree. Please check with your local base education office to determine whether you need any of the courses offered.

Please visit the Air Force Virtual Education Center or your education office to determine what training is required to complete your degree, in addition to the five GEM courses. Approval to participate in these programs should not be taken as an endorsement by the United States Air and Space Force.
