In addition to his faculty appointments, Buck has served at the director and executive levels in higher education, most recently overseeing adult and graduate business programs at Anderson University (Indiana). While at Anderson he led the development and implementation of several academic programs.

Jeffrey M. Buck Link
Pam DeLotell is engaged in a number of innovations and initiatives at the School of Business and Information Technology, including the modularization of curriculum and overseeing initiatives to improve student success. DeLotell previously worked in private business as a vice president for a conveyor company and as assistant vice president in banking before moving to academia. She has served as full-time faculty, director of financial aid, director of human resource management programs, director of online programs, and department chair at several nonprofit and for-profit universities. DeLotell has also received both teaching and research awards, most recently having won a best paper award at an international conference.

Pam DeLotell Link
Rebecca Herman is the Department Chair and also teaches various graduate business courses, with a special emphasis on leadership and organization development. She oversees numerous innovations in curriculum and serves on the University’s special task forces and accreditation panels. Herman was a leader in human resources for nearly 20 years before transitioning to academia. She started her academic career at Purdue Global as academic department chair, then assistant dean of faculty, followed by interim and associate dean. Herman returned to teaching full time as an opportunity to reconnect with students. She has been cited for her expertise on leadership in Major League Baseball in publications such as CEO, The US Daily Review, and Society of American Baseball Research. Herman has also served as a keynote speaker where she shares findings from her book, Lead Me Out to the Ballgame. In addition, she is the founder of Winning Culture Leadership.

Rebecca Herman Link
Cathy Hochanadel currently manages the Master of Science in Management and Leadership program, as well as courses in human resources, marketing, and supply chain management. She began her career with Purdue Global in 2002 as a faculty member, transitioning to the department chair role in 2003. Hochanadel teaches in the areas of marketing and mentoring/coaching. Previously, she worked as a business analyst, as a marketing manager at a commercial real estate firm, and in marketing for a small direct marketing company. In addition to her current roles, she is a reviewer for the American Marketing Association academic conferences and is an editorial board member for the Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration.

Cathy Hochanadel Link
Laurie Millam has 18 years of experience in the education field, which includes teaching in the public school system and local community college before joining Purdue Global in 2002. She serves as academic department chair in the First Term-Management Department in the School of Business and Information Technology. Prior to joining higher education, Millam worked in the business sector for 22 years, encompassing roles such as hourly employee, assistant manager, manager, and general manager, a position which she held for six years. She is currently a doctoral student at Grand Canyon University working on her Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership.

Jason Abate has over 25 years of senior leadership experience. He was an advisory board member for Sober Grid, a first-of-its-kind mobile app designed to help its users live sober, healthy lives. In 2021, Abate was asked to lead Sober Grid’s learning health systems, which allow researchers and pharmaceutical investigators to decentralize their trials, bringing solutions and therapies to the market faster to save lives. Additionally, Abate served as First Vice President and Consumer Regional Sales Manager for the Michigan Region of First Merchants Bank. He provided leadership and oversight to the Retail Administration team and Michigan's entire banking center network. He served as the Senior Vice President and Director of Retail Banking (Banking Center Sales & Service Director) for Monroe Bank & Trust and has held various leadership roles. As an executive leader in the banking industry, Abate consulted with White House advisors on trade and real estate policy.
Abate's strongest passion is teaching and mentoring and he has been an Professor for Purdue Global (formerly Kaplan University) for the past seventeen years, teaching several business and management courses. On the K-12 front, Abate serves as the school board president for Canton Charter Academy, a National Blue Ribbon School, and a Central Michigan School of Excellence for academic achievement. Additionally, Dr. Abate values service, mainly working with underserved communities.

Cuneyt Altinoz is a graduate faculty member in the School of Business and Information Technology. He began his teaching career at East Carolina University in the College of Business, where he was the lead in creating a supply chain management concentration. In addition, he has worked as an independent consultant in Atlanta, completing projects for IBM and Ciba-Geigy (now Novartis). Prior to that, Altinoz was a postdoctoral scholar, developing a decision support system for supplier selection using linguistic rules.

Kristopher Blanchard began his career with Purdue Global in 2023. Blanchard has 20 years of teaching experience that includes serving as an assistant professor of accounting at Wartburg College; associate professor of finance and MBA program chair at Upper Iowa University; dean of faculty at the Minneapolis campus of Globe University; and an associate professor of business at both Crown College and North Central University.
Blanchard also has a great deal of professional experience that includes serving as the CFO for several nonprofit organizations and working in a number of management positions. As an entrepreneur, he has started and operated several organizations during his career.

Joyce Boone has over 20 years of service and leadership in nonprofit, organizational, and teaching arenas. She has taught undergraduate courses in the School of Business and Information Technology since 2005. Prior to joining the Purdue Global faculty, Boone developed and taught business-related courses for over 7 years in North Carolina's Community College System and chaired two academic programs within a community college business department. During the previous 7 years, she facilitated access to health care for women and children in a rural North Carolina county by writing a grant and coordinating its service implementation through the local health department and other agencies.

Rachel Byers is a full-time faculty member for graduate accounting programs and serves as course lead, where she oversees course revision and innovation. She has been involved in several curriculum changes, including modularized courses and competency based programs, and is a member of the Professional Competency Committee. Byers has represented University faculty at several functions and has been published in various academic journals. Prior to joining Purdue Global, Byers taught accounting courses at The University of Alabama and the University of South Alabama as well as various online schools. She is currently a practicing CPA at Byers, Byers, and Associates P.C. in Alabama and serves as the CFO of The Save-On Group, LLC, a dental management organization. In addition, she sits on the board of various local, non-profit organizations.

Dana first joined Purdue Global as a faculty member in 2007 and then became an Academic Department Chair from 2008 to 2022 where she oversaw the finance and economics courses and was responsible for the Bachelor of Science in Finance program as well as the Masters of Science in Finance program.

Heather Dana Link
Daniel Dayton teaches various graduate courses in the Master of Science in Management and Leadership program as well as the MBA program. Dayton joined Purdue Global first as an adjunct faculty member and now as a full-time faculty member and course lead. Dayton has taught full time as associate professor of management, leadership, and organization theory, organizational development, in undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, as well as business psychology, management theory, and research methods in doctoral programs. He has chaired more than 60 completed doctoral dissertations. Prior to launching his teaching career in 2005, Dayton spent 20 years consulting to large and small corporations, federal and state government institutions, and to small entrepreneurships. Dayton has founded two businesses and one non-profit performing arts organization. He serves Purdue Global Institutional Review Board as a review board member.

Julie Dort Link
Sean Doyle serves as a full-time faculty member in the School of Business and Information Technology. He is course lead for bachelor’s courses in strategy and policy, consumer behavior, and international marketing. Doyle began his academic career in 2001, teaching at New York University in the Department of Nutrition and facilitating courses in the culinary science lab. His experience includes teaching higher education business courses and serving as a professional development consultant for on-ground, blended, and online learning environments. Doyle also consults with organizations specializing in operations management, service delivery, marketing strategy, and organizational design. As a chef early in his career, he managed culinary operations for Aramark, Hyatt, Disney, and Sheraton. Additionally, he is a residential and commercial Realtor® in the state of Florida.

Sean Doyle Link
Vilma Edginton teaches in the School of Business and Information Technology as the lead professor for several finance and economics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Edginton was previously an economist for the jewelry and diamond industries. She also consulted with medium-large privately held jewelry companies both domestically and internationally. Prior to her affiliation with the jewelry and diamond industries, Edginton was an economist for Wachovia Securities in San Diego, CA. Her Ph.D dissertation focused on consumer spending on jewelry products given four channels: retail, online, television and mail-order. The results were presented to a panel of jewelers at a diamond trade show. She still conducts research on the jewelry and diamond industries, tracking consumer spending and consumer preferences.

Vilma Edginton Link
Blake Escudier designs and teaches various undergraduate marketing courses at Purdue Global and is faculty advisor to the Ambassadors and Leadership student-led group. Over the last 25 years, he has taught marketing courses for Heritage College, Washington State University, San Jose State University, and the University of Fredericton in Canada, where he designed and led an capstone course for executive MBA students. Escudier has worked in many marketing roles, including director of promotions for Quincy Jones Broadcasting, co-owner of a sports agency, COO for a winery, and managing his own online stores. He created the Entrepreneurship Association of Australia, now with over 2,500 members. Through San Jose State University Foundation, he received a $3.5 million grant from the SBA to create the Small Business Development Center program for Northern California and was the first director of the program. He is presently a board member of the Small Business Institute.

Charles Fail joined Purdue Global as an adjunct instructor in 2005 and as a full-time faculty member in 2011 in the Management Department. He teaches courses on management, small business management, and global business, and is the recipient of several teaching and curriculum design awards. Fail has extensive business experience including business startups, small business ownership and management, technical work in the IT field, and middle management within the life insurance industry. He holds an FLMI designation in the life insurance field. Fail spent 17 years in small business ownership and management and began teaching business courses in 2003.

Jaclyn Felder-Strauss has been a higher education instructor for 13 years. At Purdue Global, she teaches various undergraduate courses in accounting, with a special emphasis on financial accounting. She started her career outside academia as as a staff accountant, and then a senior accountant with Deloitte in the International Tax Department. Felder-Strauss specializes in accounting for small local businesses and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Florida.

Dora Finamore has been a professor of business and psychology for 17 years. At Purdue Global, she teaches undergraduate business courses and contributed to a major revision for a graduate psychology course. Prior to joining Purdue Global, she taught a graduate course in psychology and in 2005 developed and taught Edu720, a graduate course in play therapy at St. Thomas University. She served two, one-year terms on the task force for ethical assurance for the Association for Play Therapy. Finamore has had a private practice in North Carolina and New Jersey for several years and is also a registered play therapist. Her research has been published in a variety of journals and books, and she has been cited for her expertise on parenting and resilience.

Rob Freeborough teaches undergraduate and graduate Human Resources and Management courses at Purdue Global and serves as Lead Faculty for Human Resources courses. Freeborough is a business practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in Civil Engineering, Human Resources, and Nonprofit Leadership. He has been teaching in higher education since 2005 in both online and traditional classroom environments. Freeborough has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) since 2011.

Mimi Gough is a full-time faculty member in the Business and IT Department. She is the course lead for several Hospitality and Event Management courses and teaches undergraduate courses in hospitality, event planning, management and customer service. Gough served on the Faculty Curriculum Committee from 2016 to 2018 and served on the Academic Appeals Committee from 2014 to 2016. Gough began her teaching career in higher education as Director of Travel and Tourism at Casco Bay College in 1991. She is a member of the International Society of Travel and Tourism Educators (ISTTE) and was a board member from 2016-2021, serving as chair/co-chair of the Academic Research Committee for the annual conference for several years. At Purdue Global, Alfred C. Greenfield Jr. is a full-time faculty member, teaching various graduate courses in accounting, with a special emphasis on the capstone class for the accounting master’s degree. He has served on several committees, including the Faculty Curriculum Committee, and his research has been published in a variety of journals. Before joining Purdue Global, Greenfield held multiple professor positions, the first at Bryant & Stratton College, a career college in Richmond, Virginia. Upon completion of his doctorate, he joined the School of Business with University of Texas of the Permian Basin. In addition, he spent some time as a professor and executive director of the MBA program at High Point University.

William Hahn is a CPA teaching in the accounting major and has been with Purdue Global for thirteen years. Previously, Hahn served as an auditor with Ernst & Young, has twenty years of CFO experience with publicly traded banking organizations, and has thirty years of teaching in both undergraduate and graduate programs at higher education institutions. While teaching at a private university, he helped develop an active-learning classroom delivery method for the accounting major. Based on a 2014 National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) study, graduates of this program pass the CPA exam at a 75% first-time rate.

Jack McCann Link
Martin McDermott has been with Purdue Global since 2005 and became a full-time faculty member in 2007. He also served as the faculty advisor to the University’s Collegiate Entrepreneurs for several years. Currently, McDermott teaches various undergraduate marketing courses. He is the course lead for five courses that focus on marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing, and marketing management. In 2009, he created a new career focus specialization in entrepreneurship. Ernest Norris began his academic career as an adjunct business faculty teaching for multiple universities before accepting a full-time faculty position with Purdue Global. During the past 11 years at Purdue Global, Norris served as a faculty member and course lead for undergraduate and graduate business courses. He is currently a course lead for graduate courses in organizational development, mentoring and coaching, organizational change, and action research and consulting. He also served as a faculty advisor for several academic honor societies and as a leader or team member on various committees. Norris is actively involved with curriculum specialists, faculty, and students to create enriching classroom learning experiences. Prior to his academic teaching career, Norris served in the U.S. Army. He also gained extensive experience in various positions and roles in the manufacturing industry. Ilene Ringler is a full-time faculty member and serves as faculty advisor for the Purdue Global Chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs. She serves as the course lead for the business perspectives course (part of the core MBA program) and the MBA capstone course. Ringler started her academic career while working for Bose Corporation and taught MBA courses at Babson University. She brings 30 years of work experience in the business field and is the principal of Ilene Ringler Associates, LLC, which provides services on values-based strategic growth and development. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Phoenix Chapter of National Association of Women Business Owners Mentoring Program, the Arizona Entrepreneurs, and the Women's Enterprise Foundation. Denise Schoenherr serves as a faculty member in the Finance Department, teaching undergraduate and graduate finance courses. She developed and designed the course on personal financial management and worked with the curriculum team to convert the course into a Massive Open Online Course, or MOOC. Schoenherr is also the course lead for several different finance courses. Before joining Purdue Global in 2005, Schoenherr taught accounting and finance courses at the community college level and worked as a business officer for a local college. Her dissertation, "Mathematics Anxiety and Coping Strategies in Nontraditional College Students," examined nontraditional students and techniques to help them cope with math-related anxiety.

Denise Schoenherr Link
Stanley Self currently serves as course lead and faculty member for two accounting courses in the MBA program. He works closely with the Curriculum Department to maintain relevance and timeliness of the accounting MBA curriculum. Self works on numerous innovations in curriculum, including modularized curriculum, customized programs, and competency based programs. He started his academic career at the Fred Hale School of Business at East Texas Baptist University (ETBU), where he taught every accounting course. During Self's service to the students of ETBU, the Uniform CPA Exam pass rate for students rose from 0% in 2003 to 87.5% in 2010. In fact, no ETBU student had ever passed the CPA Exam until he revised the accounting curriculum. Self has won numerous teaching, research, and service honors.

Edward Strafaci has over thirty years of financial experience and is an expert in Convertible Security, Merger and Options Arbitrage. Strafaci has vast experience managing equity, fixed income, and private investments. Throughout the course of his career, he has worked in both private partnership and mutual fund formats.
Strafaci teaches Finance and Economics on a graduate and undergraduate level and currently holds degrees in accounting, economics and finance. He has also taught these disciplines at several Universities. Carrie Stringham has more than 25 years of senior level human resource leadership experience. At Purdue Global, she teaches undergraduate courses in human resources. Stringham is an advisor for the university’s Society for Human Resource Management student chapter and serves as a course lead for several undergraduate courses. She is experienced in the creation, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, policies, procedures, recruiting and staffing programs, evaluation systems, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), and employee benefits; she has created entire human resource platforms for organizations in varied industries including healthcare and mining. Stringham is a consultant, trainer, author, speaker and career coach who works with adults who are contemplating career shifts.

At Purdue Global, Dennis Strouble is a professor in the Strategic Management and Marketing Department. He previously served as the chair of several departments and has taught courses in management information systems, cybersecurity, and management. Strouble has taught at several universities including Penn State University, Bowling Green State University, The University of Dallas, The Air Force Institute of Technology, and Miami University. He has been an Army Officer in Armored Cavalry Regiments with Assignments in Germany, Korea, the Presidio of San Francisco, and the Pentagon (Last Rank - LTC); an attorney in Texas; and cofounder of a company that was twice listed in the INC. 500 and named the Microsoft global partner of the year. Kristen Swisher began her career with Purdue Global (formerly Kaplan University in 2008) where she has served as an adjunct, full-time adjunct, and has recently moved into a full-time faculty position. Swisher has also enjoyed working in the tutoring center since 2012. She has served on the Academic Governance Committee and has recently been nominated for the 2023 ‘ACBSP Teaching Excellence Award’. Geoffrey VanderPal is a professor of finance at Purdue Global and served a 2-year term as a faculty senator. He also serves as course lead for 5 courses in the Master of Science in Finance program. Prior to higher education, VanderPal lived overseas in Asia for over 3 years (2011–2014), developing manufacturing, supplier, and business relationships for Alexia Kay Design, LLC, where he also traveled to over 45 countries. In 2017, he was appointed as Ambassador at Large and Economic Advisor to the Republic of Guinea.

Glenn Walton teaches full time and serves as a member of the Faculty Curriculum Committee. He also teaches students with intellectual disabilities in a joint college program with the University and Strive U. Previously, Walton had a successful career for over 20 years as a corporate advertising and marketing major account media consultant with Verizon, a Fortune 500 company. Walton started his teaching career in 2009 as an adjunct Instructor in at the University’s Maine location; 4 years later he became a full-time professor. While teaching a variety of business courses he also became the campus faculty trainer and innovation specialist, establishing new training and teaching techniques for adjuncts and faculty in on-ground, online and hybrid combination classes. Walton has partnered with other faculty members to create and present service learning projects and develop research papers. He has annually presented on the subject matter of innovative online student engagement and service learning techniques.
